One Off Skiff Building

Don’t let the resin and fiberglass scare you!

Going into the build it was very intimidating. No fiberglass experience, no boat building experience. All i had was an idea and time. I wanted to customize a skiff that fit my personal unique needs. I needed a skiff that could run ultra skinny, float skinny, but also be able to take on the perform good in rough conditions for beach side Tarpon Fishing.

Built with Fully composite materials, this boat is super light. Weighing in at 345 Pounds, less paint and 3 hatches. This 18’3 skiff will come in well under 400 pounds. Built with epoxy and 10 oz cloth, its super strong. Coosa Board transom really help save draft where it matters the most, the back! I’m super impressed with the ease of working with the composite materials. And better yet, they don’t rot!
